10 FAULT-FINDING

10.1 General (all installations)

Check the following, in sequence (by service engineer):

1 Boiler display is blank. The mains voltage 230 V Replace fuse if

necessary, but check

what circuit it was

protecting and rectify if

faulty.

The fuse in the euro-

connector

The control box fuses

2 Boiler display shows a

fault code

For flashing digits If yes, follow instructions

in the table, ref. Par. 10.2.

3 Boiler display shows

operating code

(see Par. 6.3)

0 (no heat demand)

Go to point 4.

1 to 9, h, l, b

try to find the cause of

the fault, using operating

mode shown.

4 Use boiler manual

override.

(see Par. 6.1.3)

Does the boiler start up? Yes, check external

control and wiring, or go

to point 6.

No, go to point 5.

5 Override external

controls by fitting a

link across terminals

3 and 4 of the boiler

terminal strip

Does the boiler start up? Yes, check boiler

parameters. If all OK,

then replace control box.

No, repeat point 3,or go

to point 6.
